OctoBall begins with a player serving the ball underhand from at least 4 feet away from the hoop. The serve must travel cleanly through the hoop without touching it to start play. Players or teams may hit the ball up to three times before returning it toward the hoop. If the ball hits the hoop and rebounds back, that team receives three

If a team exceeds the allowed hits or the ball touches the ground, the opposing team scores a point and serves next. Games are played as three rounds to 7 points, and the best two out of three rounds wins. OctoBall is a game of finesse — no “schwacking.” Players should focus on control, touch, and precision to keep the rally going and the game fun for everyone.
